The design of this handmade whiskey cabinet was inspired by antique aumbry cupboards from the 16th and 17th centuries. The cabinet is made from solid, figured white oak and features handmade nails and hinges forged by a blacksmith. The cabinet face frame and door edges are decorated with period accurate scratched bead moldings. The cabinet door is a single wide piece of oak and is highlighted with period correct gothic traceries, pierced and carved decorative elements backed with fabric that serve to allow air circulation within the cabinet. This marvelous cabinet is finished with a natural linseed oil and pine resin varnish and polished with beeswax.
